How do you Ceramic Coat a vehicle?
We firstly prepare the car with adequate procedures. Decontamination clean, clay bar, paint correction, final alcohol wipe down followed by the application of the ceramic coating.
Will I need my vehicle polished if it's brand new?
Yes. Even if a car is brand new, we can generally find imperfections in the newest of cars. In reality, brand new cars are kept in yards, handled many times, on and off trucks and ships just to get to Australia, over several months. They're never truly brand new.
Where do you do Ceramic Coating?
We work from our Garage in Coomera, QLD. We also offer mobile services as we carry plenty of specialized lighting on-board but optimal results will be guaranteed from our Garage!
How long does it take for Ceramic Coating to cure fully?
Once applied, the Ceramic Coating usually hardens after about 12 hours, but it continues to cure and fully bonds onto the car's paint after about 2 weeks.
Can I drive my car after Ceramic Coating?
Yes, it’s okay to drive your car starting about 12 hours after application. Avoid any water from touching the surfaces of the vehicle for the first 24 hours after application (sprinklers, rain, car washes, etc.)
Does Ceramic Coating need maintenance?
Maintenance is minimal. We recommend hand washing the vehicle regularly to prevent build-up (every 2-3 weeks.) Make sure you are using the correct products, including non-abrasive cloths. We recommend having a professional certified installer provide a yearly ceramic coating maintenance that includes an exterior wash, decontamination, gloss renewal, and inspection. As long as you do this, you should find that your ceramic coating looks excellent for the long term.
